I'm a writer, editor, wanderer, and cat-schlepper. I grew up in Alaska, and went to universities in California, Ireland, and England. I currently live in Berlin.
I write a lot about exploring the world with my cat. I wrote the first and only cat-related post for REI's Co-op Journal. I'm currently working on a memoir about traveling with my cat. In the meantime, I have a blog about cat-schlepping you can read here.
Some of my work has been featured by Oh Comely, Funny Women, The Irish Times, The Irish Times again, and even made the top 20 most recommended on Medium. I'm beyond delighted to say that this summer, I'll be presenting on animals and housing at the Fifth Annual Oxford Animal Ethics Summer School. And similarly delighted to say that this fall, Vertebrate Publishing will be including one of my pieces in Waymaking: An anthology of women's adventure writing, poetry and art.
Other current projects include a novel, and a blog of smallness exercises you can check out here.
